Synth Anthology 3 of UVI is an enormous collection of sounds, sampled from many hardware synthesizers. All re-processed and packed in a fantastic vst plugin with many extra processing options.
How to install:
- Just go to the Synth Anthology 3 page and click on BUY,
- this will lead you to the CART where you have to click on CHECK OUT
- Next, if you have a UVI account, you have to log in with your email and password or, if you do not have an account, create a new account.
- When you have created the new account or logged in, you have to go to the CART again and click on CHECK OUT again.
- Next you fill in your info and pay with PAYPAL or your CREDIT CARD. You will then receive an email with a serial number.
- Next you have to install a piece of software called the UVI Portal, which is a program you have to install on your computer.
- So you have to be logged in on the website and go to My UVI and then choose Manage My Products.
- There you will see the information about the UVI Portal. You have to download and install the Portal.
- When you start the Portal for the first time you have to log in with your email and password.
- Now you have to validate the serial number you received and link it to an iLok account. So when you have no iLok account, you have to create that too. iLok is a licence system that is used by many software companies, to ensure a safe and easy way to licence the software. You have to install the iLok Licence manager on your computer and create an account at iLok. Information on how to create the account can be found on ilok.com. A link to that website can be found below.
- Next you first have to install the UVI workstation which is 264 MB big, so that is going quite fast, but the Synth Anthology 3 is over 13 GB big so that may take some time to download. The installation is placed somewhere on your C drive, unfortunately it does not give you the choice to install it on another drive during installation.
- After the installation it still needs to be activated on your iLok account, that can be done using the iLok Licence Manager, which will place the license as a small piece of software on your computer or on an iLok USB dongle.
- When all is installed you can close the UVI portal and start your DAW.
